Simkin House Fund

Applications are now open for the Simkin House Fund!

This fund exists to support 'grass roots' youth ministry projects in the Anglican Diocese of Auckland. It is distributed once a year late in October. The trust will fund up to 50% of any project and will give priority to events (i.e. camps, retreats, and training) directly targeting teenagers.

Pentecost Youth Worship

Join us for our second combined Youth Service for the year! We will be celebrating the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. The St Georges Youth Band will be leading us in worship followed by Thomas Banks, our speaker for the evening. We will be looking at the story of Pentecost and answering questions like: who is the Holy Spirit? and what does it mean for us to have the Holy Spirit in our lives? E-Fest 2019

E-Fest is our annual Easter Camp for those in year 7-13 at school.

Packed full of amazing worship, prayer, the Jesus story, plus sports, our annual tribal games, creative spaces a space for Senior Youth to hang together and heaps more. Helping Adolescents Work Through the Rising Tide of Anxiety

Rhett Smith has an excellent article on the Fuller Institute website about Anxiety and Youth. Relating through his experiences of anxiety in his own life as well as his professional life as a therapist, he lists several practical strategies that we can use as adults to help and support youth with anxiety. An insightful read, and a good reminder that anxiety is an increasingly relevant problem for youth.

Simkin House Fund

The Simkin House Fund is here to support Youth Ministry throughout the Diocese of Auckland. The Fund gives priority to the funding of camps, retreats, holiday programmes and youth events over the purchase of equipment.
